Other Ways to Support The Trevor Project It’s possible the Volunteer Crisis Counselor role may not be for you - and that’s okay! We recognize that not everyone will be able to commit to this high-intensity volunteer role that requires a significant time commitment. Additionally, the Volunteer Crisis Counselor application is currently closed, and there is not a timeline for when applications will be open again at this time. Still, there are many other ways to support The Trevor Project and our mission to end suicide among LGBTQ+ young people.
